ZnO under Pressure: From Nanoparticles to Single Crystals

In the present review, new approaches for stabilization of metastable phases zinc oxide and growth ZnO single crystals under high pressures temperatures are considered. The problems cubic modification as well solid solutions on its basis discussed. A thermodynamic approach to description melting at is described which opens up possibilities both undoped doped (for example, with elements group V) oxide. using pressure vary phase elemental composition in order create ZnO-based materials demonstrated.
